After living in the Charlotte area for more than 20 years, there is no place I found that compares. In terms of location, where else can you find an area that’s within 3 hours of some of the nicest beaches on the East coast and 2 hours from the beautiful mountains surrounding Asheville, Boone and other neat towns? The cost of living here is reasonable. We have great colleges and universities nearby, and an uptown area that features everything you’d want from a big city with a small town feel and southern hospitality. Whether you’re into music, sports, food or just hanging out, there are great activities in the area for everyone. It’s not surprising when I tell people I meet in my travels where I live that they respond with… “ Charlotte is a really cool place, we’d sure like to move there someday.”
I was born and raised just outside of Philadelphia, PA. Growing up in Pennsylvania, my boyhood ambition was, of course, to attend Penn State University, and I realized that dream in “1974”. Graduating PSU with a degree in Labor Relations and Economics, I used my skill set, degree, and love for helping people to start my career in hospitality. My professional and personal life has led me to all corners of the United States. Starting in Florida where I met my amazing wife Kathy, to San Francisco where I developed a love for the culinary arts. From there to Chicago where we started a family. This long journey eventually led us to Charlotte where I hope to show clients why Charlotte will be our home forever.
Previously, I worked in hospitality and food service for close to 30 years, all with the same company, Compass Group, holding positions in Operational Management, Sales, and Business Analytics. But after all of those years of adhering to the bottom line, I decided to get back to do what I truly loved, serving others and helping them realize their dreams. This led me to beginning my career in real estate. From my experience, there are countless similarities between hospitality and real estate - creating an awesome experience through great customer service, attention to detail and professionalism in knowing the product and those I serve.
Throughout our lives we have bought, sold, and built several different homes, and we always felt the whole process was a lot more difficult than it needed to be. So when I made my transition into real estate the primary goal was to do everything in my power to make the buying or selling process as easy and as stress free as possible. This simple approach has made a resounding impact on my clients. I want to help you and your family to really enjoy your real estate transactions, after all these are some of the biggest events in a person’s life! Aside from marrying my wife and having a family, moving to the Carolinas was the best decision we ever made. I want to help others find that same fulfillment with their decision to make the Carolinas their home!
